This skin type is most common in teenage years although can be found on skins of all ages. This skin type has overactive sebaceous glands, which are controlled by the hormone levels. Common characteristics that you will see all over the face on this skin type are:

  • Open
  • Papules (red spot).
  • Pustules (pustular spot).
  • Seborrhoea, producing a greasy
  • A build up of dead skin cells making the skin appear coarse in texture.
