This skin type is often associated with mature skin although can be found on the skin of all ages. The sebaceous glands of this skin type are under-active and do not produce sufficient sebum. Using products that are too harsh for the skin may also cause the skin to become dry. This skin will often have:

Milia – often found on the skin around the eyes and cheeks.
